About Us

Mauchline Burns Club gather twice a month to discuss Scottish Culture and history, studying the works of the great poet Rabbie Burns and their love for love his poems and songs.

Our Ongoing Projects

Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme – Initiated this multi Million Pound Regeneration of the Conservation Area and prepared and funded the initial Appraisal for finalising and submission by East Ayrshire Council. This led to a successful result. We are grateful to East Ayrshire Council for their help and to Mauchline Action Group for  taking this project (with investment estimated at £2,165,432) forward.

Mauchline Burns Club is the holder of the Guinness Book World Record for the largest haggis cooked using natural materials.

Alex Crawford is President of the Mauchline Burns Club from 2019 to 2021.
